• Rum Cocktail: Wipeout

    Cold brew brings a bittersweet acidity to this tropical highball from the new Death & Co. outpost in Denver.
    1 oz. overproof rum
    ½ oz. Jamaican rum
    ½ oz. blackstrap rum 1 ½ oz. pineapple juice
    ¾ oz. cold-brew concentrate
    ½ oz. Demerera syrup
    Tools: shaker, strainer
    Glass: highball
    Garnish: pineapple fronds, grated nutmeg
    Combine all the ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake until cold. Strain into a highball over crushed ice and garnish.

    Death & Co. beverage director Tyson Buhler combines flavors of smoke, fruit and spice in this stunning stirred cocktail.
    1¼ oz. bourbon
    ½ oz. Scotch
    ¼ oz. Jamaican rum 2 tsp. coffee liqueur 1 tsp. passion fruit liqueur
    Tools: barspoon
    Glass: Old Fashioned
    Garnish: orange twist
    Combine all the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass over a single ice cube. Garnish.
