    A familiar name within the local restaurant scene is going to be opening a Parisian-style bistro in Boston's Back Bay neighborhood.
    According to an article from Boston Magazine, Michael Serpa, his wife and operations director Lina Velez, and his business partners will be opening Grand Tour on Newbury Street, with the address indicating that it will be moving into the space by Hereford Street where Smoothie King had been.     A dining spot in the Fenway that was known in part for its Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fare has closed its doors.
    According to a poster on the Friends of Boston's Hidden Restaurants Facebook group page, Hidyan Mediterranean Grill on Kilmarnock Street is no longer in business, with a check on the place by Patrick Maguire of Maguire Promotions & Hospitality Consulting confirming this, as a sign out front says "permanently closed."   • Tiffani Faison to Open Orfano in Boston's Fenway Neighborhood

    It looks like one of Boston's best-known chefs will be opening another restaurant in the Fenway.
    According to an article in Boston Magazine, Tiffani Faison is planning to open Orfano, which will be an Italian restaurant in the new Pierce Boston luxury condo/apartment tower by the corner of Brookline Avenue and Boylston Street. Few details have been given on the dining spot at this point in time, but it appears that the restaurant could open sometime this summer if all goes as planned.
